I have never won a contest in all my life, so imagine my surprise when I received an email yesterday from 20th Century Fox informing me I won 2 tickets to Predators. This is only the 2nd time I joined their Facebook contests. I immediately texted Irene that I had won asking if she wanted to watch. She had seen the trailer and did not like it, but since the tickets were free, she said ok.

I have not been to Megamall to see a movie for almost 10 years, i think. We went inside the cinemas earlier to get better seats.The locations we got was great but the seats were not. If Eastwood cinemas has rocker seats; SM Megamall has sliding seats, we had to adjust ourselves several times during the movie. Acoustics were also lousy, we strained our ears trying to pick up some of the quieter dialogues.

This movie is produced by Robert Rodriguez and stars Adrien Brody as Royce, one of the chosen human predators brought together in the alien planet, as game to be hunted by the alien Predators. The Predators like to play with their game so the deaths and gore don't start immediately.

The movie is a nice action flick full of exciting fight scenes as well as some suspenseful moments. Predators is a chapter in the Predator universe but is more of a continuation of the 1987 film with references to Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in that movie.

I highly recommend the movie for action film lovers. 

I hope this is the beginning of my lucky streak, I can dream can't I.
