On one of our Serenitea trips, I spied a new restaurant, seeing the word ribs got me excited because I love BBQ ribs.
So last rainy Saturday, we decided to go try it out for dinner. We found out the place was still on a dry run, despite this we gave it a try but holding off judgment on the interior and the wait staff. We proceeded to the counter and asked the waitress what their specialties are. She said ribs, we asked how big one order was, she informed us that it was 500grams of meat and bones, so we ordered only 1 plate.
I saw an order coming out from the kitchen that piqued my interest, it was calamares. Irene saw a few things she liked but decided on the Chicken Fajita Wrap. The waitress then informed us that since its their dry run the have a promo giving an order of Dynamite Wings for every table that dines in. What a nice surprise even though we really don't like spicy food.

The ribs was served with Texan rice, buttered vegetables and extra barbecue sauce (always a plus for me). Irene and I both really liked the ribs, the meat was tender and not charred. The accompanying barbecue sauce was very delicious. The order was very large and an add another order of rice and two people would be full with this order. One complaint was that the middle part of the rib was still cold, but I'll chalk this up to the dry run. The ribs might not taste as good as my favorite in Tony Roma's, but it's well worth the price.
The calamares were good and the serving was ample but it still does not hold a candle to my favorite calamares bought from a cart outside of UST.
The Chicken Fajita wraps came out next. We both liked the filling but the some of the wrap was falling apart, we think because the filling was too wet or oily. We also think they could have added some more mozzarella cheese on top, it was a little too sparse.
Last to arrive was our free 6 pieces of Dynamite Wings. I tried just a little piece of the chicken but it was too spicy for me so we just had it wrapped together with the fries from the Fajita wrap. Found the price too expensive and would not order this next time.
All in all, it was a good and filling meal. We will come back for the ribs and to try some of the things we found interesting on the menu like the Cheese Steak Texan Chicken. We found the place cozy and liked the interiors a lot.
