FIC Ice Cream bar in Rockwell

This post is from a couple of months ago already. The club had just had lunch at BonChon Chicken in Ayala Triangle and was looking for some dessert. We initially went to Chcocolate Fire but unfortunately it was closed so we went to FIC Ice Cream Bar instead. I've read about the place and passed by multiple times, just have not had the chance to step inside until now.

I nice the clean look of the place with Kartell lighting and some bar stools as accents to the predominantly white interior and furniture. It exudes a air of calm as you partake of their frozen delights.

I thought they only served ice cream creations but upon perusing the menu I was surprised to see a lot of hot and savory items also.

Peach Melba (P250). My order since this one does not come with chocolate ice cream. Strawberry, vanilla and mango ice cream topped with peach slices, roasted walnuts, whipped cream and strawberry sauce.I like the mixing of the flavors that was very refreshing. The peach slices were also crisp, i really hate soggy peaches. I feel FIC is really one of the best local ice creams at present.

Choco Pinipig Sundae (P140). Tsokolate ice cream encased in a frozen chocolate shell topped with whipped cream and drizzled with pinipig. Lauren's order due to the amount of chocolate, her favorite but after eating the outer shell was disappointed with the taste of tsokolate since she's more of a milk chocolate kid.

Classic Banana Split (P275? not sure).

BLT (P225) The classic sandwich served with a side of potato chips.

All in all, I was happy about the ambiance the Ice cream Bar exudes, its very chic and relaxed. A place where you can have a nice lunch and yummy ice cream after. I think they also serve frozen yogurt too.
