Momo Café in Eastwood Mall

Momo Café is Lauren's favorite restaurant in Eastwood, she orders the same exact thing every time we eat there. Since our favorite cinemas are there, any time we watch a movie there, she always wants to eat at Momo Café.

I love the high ceilings and the quirky kitchen related decor. I just always wonder how they get and return the glasses on the top most shelf.

Every meal here starts with free appetizer, bread with a cheese pimiento like spread. Served with slightly toasted bread on the side, this is a delightful appetizer and best of all its free.

The Grand Slammer (P395). This all day breakfast platter is composed of 2 pieces of crispy bacon and sausages, 4 pancakes, 2 eggs (done anyway, in this case scrambled) and potato smashers. A bowl of fruit compote, syrup and butter are served on a side plate. This plate is good for two to three people depending on their appetite.Lauren eats all the sausages and bacon, as well as 3 pancakes and the scrambled eggs. She has quite an appetite.(hahaha, wonder where she gets that from?)

Melted 4 Cheese and Roasted Mushroom Pizza (P395) Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Cheddar and White Cheese pizza topped with mushrooms. Irene and I had actually ordered something else when we saw a table beside us being served this pizza. Good thing, we were able to change our order. We both loved the pizza, usually we get tired of eating 4 cheese pizza because of the dominating taste of the cheeses. This version had the earthy flavor of the mushrooms serving as a contrast in flavor.

Chocolate Mint Cupcake (complimentary thru Enjoy Card). Lauren was excited to have chosen the cupcake flavor since we had mistakenly heard it as chocolate chip cupcake. Instead, when she had a bite, she immediately pushed it towards us. Lauren is not fond of mint.

We'll definitely be back eating at Momo Café soon, since we love their value for money servings, cozy settings, good service and also because it has the blessings of Lauren.
