I admit I've never tried Angel's Pizza Pasta Combo before though I've seen it numerous times.So I was quite surprised to come home to a smiling cherub on a box hinting of hot delights inside.
At first glance, it looks similar to most pizza out there but I did appreciate the inclusion of multiple package savers (the white plastic thing) which kept the box from pressing on the pizza. The pizza was hiding its true nature underneath. It was actually composed of two thin crust pizzas piled on top of the other, with a layer of cheese in between. This variant was called Angel's Double Cheesy Burger (P599), and was apparently their best selling pizza.
The pizza was not the only thing delivered there were three black containers which I first thought was pasta but upon opening was surprised to find out it was rice toppings.More specifically, Breaded Chicken Bowls (P95 w/ regular ice tea) that came in three variants Chicken with Creamy Sauce, Chicken Terriyaki, and Chicken Parmigiana (top to bottom). They came nicely packaged in hygienic looking and tightly sealed round containers that are sturdy enough to be reused.
Trying out a little of each one, Irene and I came to the same conclusion, the one we most enjoyed was the Chicken Parmigiana, the cheese and tomato sauce topping just somehow matched the breaded chicken better.There is ample serving of rice which will definitely fill anyone up.
