I've been a Crumpler Bag addict ever since I first discovered the brand during a visit to Singapore in December of 2002. Irene and I were walking around one of the malls there and chanced upon a bag store. There were lots of different brands available but I was immediately drawn to what I would later find out were Crumpler bags. It must have been the pretty colors that drew me to them. It took a few trips back to the store to finally decide on the purchase of my very first one, a red messenger bag (I forgot the quirky name already since I sold it years ago).
I did not realize its been almost 10 years since I fell in love with Crumpler, and am glad they finally arrived in the Philippines, its actually cheaper here than in Hong Kong or Singapore. Everytime I pass by a Crumpler shop, I get an urge to want to buy something, those pretty colors definitely plays a big part. Our family currently owns a total of 5 Crumpler bags (shown above), 1 laptop bag, 1 messenger bag, 1 sling bag and 2 camera bags. I had sold a couple of other bags and accessories or else there would have been more.
Crumpler bags are perfect containers for my new photography hobby. The bags don't look like all the boring black camera bags of other manufacturers and they are built to last with a lifetime guarantee to boot. If I had not sold those other bags, I would not have had a reason to buy new ones.
My newest bag is the 6 Million Dollar Home in the limited edition Olive Dot print, which retails at P5,950. This will replace my brown and orange 6 Million Dollar Home bag, the dot design just has more character which suits my personality.
The dot design is the pattern found around the body of the bag, a nice touch compared to the usual solid color.
There are lots of things I love about Crumpler bags. Here are some of them.
The velcro silencer, I have the option of covering up the strong but sometimes quite noisy velcro.
Roomy with lots of dividers. The bag holds all my gear in each customizable place, be it an extra lens, a flash or whatever stuff I put in my bag.
Four accessory loops on the sides to add more stuff in the future.
Anti slip shoulder pad with a wide strap that perfectly holds the bag in place and is not a strain to my shoulders.
Strong compression straps gives extra security.
Multiple compartments to easily hold extra stuff like batteries, memory cards and cleaning pens.
And in case I get in a little weather related situation, I know my bag is well protected on all sides from the flap to the bottom itself.
I'm sure my next bag would be a Crumpler yet again, the addict in me strikes again. We've even given a number of bags as gifts to the delight of the recipients.
The olive dot limited edition design is also available in many other bag and accessory sizes so go and check them out. Crumpler Bags are available at their stores in Trinoma, Robinson's Place Ermita, Bonifacio High Street and SM Megamall as well as all Digital Walker, Digital Hub and Beyond the Box stores.

I like crumpler too but I prefer the smaller ones. I'm eyeing for the crumpler haven because I want to change bags whenever I feel like it.
