I still fondly remember my first time at Corniche more than 4 years ago to sample their Steak Night Thursdays. This time around they’ve moved it to Fridays and called it Platters of the Americas, to give people a more relaxing time dining with no work looming the next day. They’ve also added a number of American dishes to complement your steak barbecue experience.
The usual buffet spread is retained with different stations but the grill is king. Pick from different cuts of Angus beef (porterhouse, sirloin, ribeye, fillet), have them grilled to your desired doneness, devour and repeat the process again. Eat it with just salt and pepper seasoning or add Corniche’s own sauces (chimmichuri, peppercorn, bleu cheese, diane, garlic butter and hickory bbq).
Want some different meats aside from steak then the honey leg of ham and the prime rib should sufficiently satiate your cravings.
Pair your steak with corn on the cob, onion rings, mac and cheese and a whole lot more.
Be sure to save room for dessert with choices from their homemade ice cream, macarons, halo halo station and a selection of cakes and pastries.
Platters of the Americas is available every Friday at Corniche for P2,250 nett per person. Other theme buffets are Bounty of the Sea on Tuesdays, Island Favorites (Filipino) on Thursdays and Food of the Gods (Mediterranean) on Saturdays.
