I was invited to try out Mrs. Graham’s Macaron Cafe, located in one of the side streets of Tomas Morato. I don’t really frequent that area anymore so if it was a welcome discovery. They are located in a fairly quiet part of Scout Rallos but with once the resto complex next door opens up, the place will definitely get a stream of people.
The cafe is quite small, with seating that can accommodate around a max of 16 people inside and a few more outside. You can park in front and across the street.
Be sure to look up when you go inside the restaurant and take a look at these pretty macaron lamps.
What’s a macaron cafe without rows and rows of macarons.
They come in many pretty colors and unique flavors like Tequilla Rose, Bailey’s, Malibu Rum, Smores, Tiramisu, Pancake w/ Buttercream, French Toast, PB & J. They also have Salted Caramel, Cookie Dough, White Coffee and Bibingka.
Good thing I was with some of the KTG crew so I could just try a little piece of each macaron. I enjoyed the Pancake, Tequilla Rose and Smores but my ultimate favorite was the Bibingka with Salted Egg Cream. This homage to the Christmas season was by so good, it was the only I had one whole macaron. Sweet and salty plays on your palate as you bite and savor that little macaron.
There are lots of attention to detail, like the way they serve coffee.
Looking to while away the afternoon, check out one of these Afternoon Tea Sets. They can be customized with whatever macaron or pastry you like as well as finger sandwiches. Get a pot of tea and you are good to go, Mrs. Graham’s Macaron Cafe uses carefully selected teas from TWG.
The owner bakes the macarons herself but other pastries like cupcakes and eclairs are made by her baker friends.
Mrs. Graham’s Macaron Cafe is a nice place, cutesie place to hang out with lots of unique macaron flavors to choose from. If you are looking for something heavier then you can start with some burgers at the BRGR Project branch next door, which they also own.
