Circles at Makati Shangri-la has 7 new theme buffets that offers a varied dining journey each day of the week. I got to try Butcher’s Night which happens every Tuesday until December 31, 2105.
I always start my buffet journeys with a trip to the cold seafood and Japanese station. There’s lobsters, crabs, shrimps, clams and oysters with your choice of sauce.
This was my favorite from the Japanese station, it not only looks nice but tasted wonderful.
If you are looking for a more continental start, then the bread and cheese, salad and other appetizers should be where you are headed. I got a little bit of each appetizer to try for something different.
The Chinese station features some good roasted meats as well as a variety of freshly steamed dimsum. I did not get to take a pic of the nice lechon but made up for it with 2 plates.
Better get some beer to go with the unusual make your own nachos station.
The highlight of Butcher’s Night is this spread of raw meats and sausages, that they marinade and grill upon your order. So fill yourself up with plate after plate of beef, chicken, pork in different cuts.
If you don’t want to wait, this slab of prime rib should tide you by, they’ve got the works to go with it.
Fancy some liquids to go with your meal, an additional P125 will get you unlimited amounts of these.
We were enjoyed the buffet with Lauren so from the very start she already surveyed the dessert area.
There’s a cute critter holding court over one side of the dessert spread.
Home made ice cream with a variety of toppings to make your own sundaes. I lost count of how many times Lauren went back.
There are also a lot of mini cakes as well as this super pretty spherical cake.
I can never resist Filipino rice desserts and zeroed in on the kutchinta and maja.
I balanced it out with some sliced cold fruits, the best way to enjoy fruits in my opinion.
Other theme nights in the Come Full Circle line up is Wholesome Market for Mondays, Spice Market on Wednesday, Farmer’s Market on Thursday, Seafood Market on Friday and Saturday and Sunday features the best of Circles Event Cafe. Priced at Php2,100 nett from Mon-Thur and P2,350 for Fri-Sat.
It was another enjoyable time at Circles Event Cafe, food is great quality and the service is excellent. We had to rest a while because Lauren said she was to the point of bursting from eating too much.
