5 Reasons to Visit Chili’s Again

May 11, 2015 by Richard

Chili’s is one of the places you go to for overall good Southwestern food, nice ambiance and unlimited nachos. Admit it, you’ve gone there many a times to gorge on them nachos. If you have not been back for a while, you’ll be happy to know that they’ve introduced 5 new limited time dishes for their Sweet, Smoky and Hot promo, available from April until June only.

Chili’s has also recently renovated the Greenhills branch to sport a new, brighter and hipper look that was first launched in Fairview Terraces. Looking for a place to party in Greenhills then Chili’s should be at the top of your list.

Chilis Pulled Prok Corn Cakes

Start off with the Pulled Pork Corn Cakes (P325). Fresh grilled corn cake topped with generous amount of carnitas, pickled red onion and drizzled with honey chipotle sauce, cumin lime sour cream and queso. My personal favorite among all their new dishes, a flavor bomb that’s quite hefty too.

Chilis Ancho Rubbed Tilapia 01

For those fond of fish they have a new tilapia offering, the Ancho Rubbed Tilapia (P425). I was so surprised the first time I had tilapia at Chili’s and was excited to try this one. This version has more of a spicy kick but it’s tempered by the sweet corn succotash and queso. Squeeze some lime for a citrus flavor dimension and you won’t even notice you are eating healthy.      Chilis Sweet Mustard Seed Baby Back Ribs

Chilis Smoked Garlic Sirloin

Carnivores should be happy with both the Sweet Mustard Seed Baby Back Ribs (P665/half, P965/full) and the Smoked Garlic Sirloin (P845). The ribs have a nice smoky bbq basting and is good value for the price. The sirloin was my preferred meat dish because of the my fave honey-chipotle sauce they use to flavor the steak with.

Chilis Apple Berry Cobbler

A sweet surprise to end the meal was the Apple Berry Cobbler (P325). Cinnamon apples, fresh blackberries (seasonal, expensive but delicious) on top of warm nut crumble and topped with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream (Big Scoop) and drizzled with caramel sauce.
