I bet everyone wanted to play with their food when they were kids. I knew I did but always got admonished by my parents. The Burger Lab at Prism Plaza is one place that not only allows it but encourages you to do it.
Decor is simple with a heavy emphasis on the dark spectrum. There’s some little things to give off the lab vibe like these beakers with different colored liquids displayed on the wall.
They have the usual bar chow staples like fries, wings, sausages and The Burger Lab Nachos (P175). It’s the unique Nacho Sticks (P135), the usual nacho toppings stuffed into an easy to share and eat, crunchy roll.
Burger Spaghetti (P250). This dish brings back loads of memories from my high school days where I used to order a similar dish from a burger house across my school .
The Burger Lab’s build your own burger (starts at P210) is literally build your own. All your selected ingredients are served on a wooden board and you go about assembling it before eating. Yehey to legitimately playing with your own food.
They also give you a syringe filled with the sauce of your choice to squirt on top of your burger.
I picked the Smoked Gun Burger (P270), little did I know what would appear on the table. A wooden slab with my burger comes with a glass cover with smoke all over.
The server will open the cover and you’ll immediately smell the hickory smoke which also envelops the burger and the side of home made potato chips.
Wash it down with their thick Vanilla Milkshake (P120) or their plethora of alcoholic drinks.
For dessert, get the Chocolate Bomb! (P199). A chocolate dome hides vanilla ice cream inside and you get to pour the hot caramel sauce on top to reveal it.
