While waiting for our room at Myeongdong Skypark to be available we walked around the are. Since it was still early we decided to check out one of the coffee shops in the area called Cafe Pascucci. The place was located on the 2nd floor so the whole group trooped up the stairs to check it out.
We got quite a surprise when we got there, the place was huge, this is less than half of the non smoking area. This could be the biggest coffee shop I’ve seen. There was only a few customers considering it was quite early.
The counter is very wide, with pastry and gelato displays tempting you even before you reach the counter to order coffee.
Caramel Cream Bread. This thick toast dessert can be found in many coffee shops around Seoul. You can also have this with gelato or frozen yogurt. Lauren liked this a lot, the bread was crunchy and the cream and caramel added a bit of sugary decadence to it all.
I forgot what this dessert was called but it was a featured dessert since it was strawberry season in Korea. Light cream and soft strawberry chiffon cake alternate to create a nice little cake. The cute square chocolate nameplate is a nice touch also.
Irene had one of their signature drip coffee, but found the coffee a bit too light for her tastes.
All of us like the comfy atmosphere of Cafe Pascucci, the desserts were good but we only tried a small part of their menu.
Feet tired from all the shopping, then Cafe Pascucci is the place to rest up. Its also got a nice view of the center so you busy yourself people watching in the comforts of a nice couch by the window.
