Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Sumo Meal 01

Sakura season is a highly anticipated time in Japan that signifies the start of spring with pink and white colored blooms all around Japan. People bring out their picnic baskets and eat and drink under the trees in various parks. You can celebrate Sakura season in the Philippines with Tokyo Tokyo‘s new Sakura food offerings.

Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Sumo Meal

The Sakura Sumo Meal (P379) is a bento box for 2 filled with your Tokyo Tokyo favorites. Chicken Karaage, 2 pcs. of prawn tempura, vegetable tempura, beef misono, vegetable misono , yakisoba plus two bowls of unlimited rice and two drinks.

Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Mochi Balls

There’s a little dessert surprise in the sakura sumo meal, 2 pcs. of Sakura mochi balls. Chewy pink hued rice cakes filled with peanut butter for a sweet and creamy ending.

Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Lychee Fizz

Wash your sumo meal down with the Sakura Lychee Fizz. It’s made up of Sprite and sakura syrup and chewy nata de coco strips. Chewy and fun drink and pink hued too, perfect to pair with your Tokyo Tokyo favorites.

Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Potato Salad

Want an even more filling meal then you can add the Sakura Potato Salad. Potatoes, kani strips, beets tossed in a Japanese mayo dressing on top of a lettuce bed. The pinkish color comes from the super healthy beet cubes which also has a crunchier texture compared to the soft and creamy potatoes.

Tokyo Tokyo Sakura Lychee Jelly

There’s also another dessert you might want to add to your meal, the Sakura Lychee Jelly. I’m a sucker for lychees in whatever form, this one has a whole lychee suspended in the jelly and topped with a layer of cream cheese foam as flavor and texture contrast.

Be sure to head on over to the nearest Tokyo Tokyo branch and taste the limited time Sakura season items.
