Classic Confections in Greenbelt 5

March 9, 2011 by Richard

Since my trip to Bacolod, my taste buds are constantly looking for dessert and cakes. One afternoon in Greenbelt 5, the craving hit me, good thing I remembered about Classic Confections.

Banana Cream Pie (P175). So far the best Banana cream pie I’ve had since its devoid of any sign of chocolate as other places are wont to add. A heavy dose of cream covers the sweetish banana. I put a forkful after another into my mouth, and by time I noticed it, it was all gone.

Cheesecake (P225). Irene’s order, she’s developed an affinity for real cheesecakes after she had one years ago. She gave this one a thumbs up and kinda inspired her to make her own at home.

Prices are quite expensive, especially after seeing the prices in Bacolod, but they do serve yummy good quality cakes and pastries.

So if you are in Greenbelt 5 and looking for a less crowded place to have dessert, Classic Confections would fit that to a tee.

Try Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion next time you go back. Someone brought it here in the office and I found it really good even if Im not a fan of chocolate cakes :)
