Does it seem like a chore to shop for gifts especially during the Christmas Season. Looking for something new and fresh especially for those people who seem to have everything. Then I have the just the answer, perfect cheesecakes for gifts, potluck or even family gatherings for Noche Buena. Indulgence by Irene cheesecakes is a home based baking business started by my wife almost a year ago upon the prodding of friends who tasted her signature product, the Queso de Bola Cheesecake.
It’s one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had and I’m saying this not because I’m obligated to (married people should know) but because it is the truth. The cheesecake is dense and creamy with bits of surprise sharp queso de bola (edam) cheese mixed throughout. A layer of buttery graham crust helps to create a contrast. Each bites begets another and before you know it, you’ve eaten way too much.
The Choc Nut cheesecake is a new addition to the line up, debuting just a couple of months ago. This cheesecake still retains that creamy and dense texture as well as the graham crust, minus the queso de bola bits. Sweet, chocolatey, nutty and milky Choc Nut is added that gives one the feeling of yesteryears. A blast of nostalgia in every bite.
Each cake is hand made by my wife upon order only so there is no ready stock available to preserve freshness. The cheesecakes can last at least 2 weeks in the ref.
Lest you accuse me of shameless self promotion. Here are some people who have tried Indulgence by Irene cheesecakes and loved it to bits (actually no more bits since they ate them all)

I still have to write my blogpost about it. I miss the Quezo de Bola cheesecake! :)
Michy, glad you enjoyed it,
Easily the YUMMIEST cheesecake I’ve ever had! <3 And the price is also unbeatable especially since each cheesecake is packed with the pricey Philadelphia Cream Cheese filling.
I was actually surprised that a heavy (some "cheesecakes" are light & airy) & creamy quality cheesecake can come in a 220 php box! Not bad! Defnitely in my Christmas gift list.
My favorite is the QDB, I can't stop with just a forkful. But the new Calamansi flavor comes really close. Sweet, salty & tangy. Just the perfect combination. The Chocnut comes 3rd, and the Ube & Tablea vying for 4th.
See you at the BEST FOOD FORWARD event on October 11/12 (sat/sun) at the Rockwell Tent. Save some boxes for me please! :-*
Oh my.. the QBD cheesecake!!!
I’d like to try the Calamansi one now.. Hehehe!!
Love, Didi
