I’ve been meaning to try out Gigi’s Custaroons for quite a long time already but one thing or another always derails my plans. After getting to try them out, I’m kicking myself not having had a taste earlier.

Do you like custards like leche flan and crème brûlée or macaroons or maybe you’re like me and like them both.Gigi has created a wonderful addicting dessert like no other, a mix of both, called a Custaroon. Available in two sizes, the original 3 ounces and the bite sized 3/4 ounce. I prefer the small bite size ones as its less sinful to just grab one and pop it into my mouth compared to the original that would feel weird not finishing the whole thing.

There is also a cheese flavored custaroon, Irene prefers it to the original. I suggest getting a box of the assorted ones to try both flavors out.

ORIGINAL

box of 4: P 150.00
box of 6: P 170.00
box of 12: P 300.00
box of 24:  P 550.00

bite-size . box of 30:  P 260.00
bite-size . box of 60:  P 500.00
bite-size . box of 120:  P 900.00

CHEESE or ASSORTED
box of 4: P 170.00

box of 24:  P 600.00
bite-size . box of 15:  P 200.00
bite-size . box of 30:  P 300.00
bite-size . box of 60:  P 580.00
bite-size . box of 120:  P 1000.00

Gigi has made her sinful custaroon even more sinfully coating them in chocolate powder calling them Poppers. Since you guys know I’m not a fan of chocolate you will have guessed by now that I still prefer the creamy goodness of the original Custaroon. For all the multitude of chocolate lovers, I bet you will fell like you’ve got a taste of dessert heaven with a taste of these poppers. Each bite melts in your mouth, bittersweet chocolate powder mixing with the creamy sweetness of the custaroon.

POPPERS
Original/Cheese

bite-size balls(tub of 22):  P 200.00
Green Tea(matcha)/Coffee (expresso)
bite-size balls(tub of 22):  P 320.00

With the holidays just around the corner, are you grasping for ideas on what to give your friends and family. Gigi’s Custaroons is the answer, aside from being a unique dessert, it comes in a wonderful Tiffany blue box that’s oh so pleasing to the eye.
