Go Moo with Tokyo Tokyo Wagyu Burgers

March 18, 2017 by Richard

Tokyo Tokyo has a new line of wagyu burgers that will make you go moo after the first bite. Each of the burgers has a quarter pound wagyu patty, brioche bun and their special sauce. The burgers are sourced from a local wagyu raiser and will be 100% beef with no extenders.

Their basic burger is a Cheeseburger (P160) which has a brioche bun sandwiching a quarter pound wagyu patty, lettuce, premium cheese and special sauce. I’m not exactly sure about the components of the special sauce, I’m sure is togarashi so it has a slight spicy kick so have them remove it when ordering if you are spice averse.

Want a heftier burger then get the Double Cheeseburger (P235). The additional P75 gets you another quarter pound patty and a slice of premium cheese.

The third and last burger is the Rising Sun (P175). This burger has a fried egg and onion ring in addition to the wagyu patty, cheese and special sauce. This is one tall burger, even taller than the double cheeseburger and a bit messy to eat but that’s the fun of it. This feels somewhat like a breakfast leaning burger with the oozy fried egg.

Each patty has the beef flavor that I look for in quality burgers, no extenders at all so each bite gives you a mouthful of beef. The bun is fluffy yet strong enough to hold the juices without breaking apart.

Make your burger a complete meal then add P60 to get side of your choice plus a regular red iced tea. You can get potato balls or onion rings but my suggestion is potato balls, always.

Check out the new line of Wagyu burgers at all Tokyo Tokyo branches nationwide starting March 20, 2017. They are great value burgers that does not scrimp on taste.
