Ibiza Beach Club BGC brings the Cebu beach feel I experienced in Movenpick Mactan right into the heart of Metro Manila. The 1,000-seater restaurant opened last April at the 6th level of W City Centre and cost a whopping P300 million to build. Different themed shows are available during dinner time performed by the IBC Performing Arts Company, nothing with fire though since this is indoor unlike Cebu.
There are a variety of different seating areas within the 4,000 sqm, area ranging from outdoor to indoor seating. All the areas extend the beach club charm with splashes of aquatic colors to contrast with the mostly white decor and furniture.
There’s a VIP lounge area that one can book for special events that gives off a more sophisticated feel.
If you fancy a little dip amidst the high-rises, change up and get wet in their indoor jacuzzi area. No food allowed in the area though, we don’t want to be lounging next to a rib or two.
Ibiza
The dining highlight at Ibiza Beach Club BGC is their Balearic inspired 15 course grill. The feast includes unlimited servings from their salad and appetizer section. Be sure to try the cheesiest Pao de quijo around. You can have your multi course dinner while enjoying the nightly entertainment.

Each course of the grill will be served table side fresh from their churrasco grill, having as much of each course as you want.
My favorites for the meats were the Ostrich, lamb chops, rib eye, fillet Mignon (bacon wrapped tenderloin) and chicken thighs were all wonderfully cooked and seasoned.
- Pork Belly
- Beef Short Ribs
- Baby Back Ribs
The pork belly was pretty good but the baby back and beef short ribs were nothing special.
Wash your meats down with one of their house signature cocktails.
The seafood courses are excellent, all perfectly cooked and coated with various spices and seasonings that bring out the flavor even more. The calamari/squid and fish (parrot fish) were the standouts for me, not a surprise since I enjoyed both immensely in Cebu also.
Queen Pineapple. These special queen pineapples from Daet are grilled with cinnamon and sugar then served with nuts and yogurt sauce. The grilling really gives the pineapples an extra jolt of flavor, releasing more sweetness and an intoxicating aroma that will be hard to resist, so be sure to save a little space in your tummy.
For lunch, they are offering 3 (P500) and 4 (P600) course meals with a plated main course (pork belly, baby back ribs, chicken drumstick, fish of the day) plus soup, salad bar and queen pineapple dessert.
