The Jollibee Kids Club recently held the Jollitown The Big Event at SMX Convention Center featuring giant inflatables and other fun booths for the kids. The event was exclusive to members of Jollibee Kids Club and began at 10am with lines filling up the outside with kids of all ages eager to play and have fun with their families.
Lauren and I arrived late in the some of the people had gone home after a whole day of playing. They set up 13 booths made up of different games and activities. Smartphones, tablets and cameras were out in full force capturing the wonderful moments.
The first booth we encountered was Jollibee Bob House. A bouncy house for the kids with a slide to exit the play area in the back.
A game of bouncy basketball can be played at the Bouncer Balls booth where kids can dunk a ball through the hoops.
The Watch It n’ Dance It booth was filled with kids and some adults showing their moves thru an Xbox Kinect on the screen.
Hat’s Entertainment is where you can try headgear that look like their favorite Jollibee characters. This is also where the mascots come out and have a click snapping photo session with their fans.
Ding Dang Dong Clingers. This is the booth I and so many adults wanted to try. Imagine wearing a coat the jump on the wall and be stuck, dreams of being Spiderman filled my mind. Too bad I was told by the staff that it was only for kids… huhuhu.
Pinoy Puno. A giant tree with rolling eyes that kids can have a chat with. A saw a few kids taken startled a bit when the tree started to talk and ask them questions. After a slight hesitation the kids gamely answered back.
Kids released their inner Picasso painting on the Art Wall. The wall was filled with different swirls, splashes and doodles with no words of horror by the parents.
Wish, Wait and Whoa. A wishing well with a little rainbow surprise once you drop a coin in and make a wish.
Dome of Bubbles. Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles filled this plastic dome with kids wearing protective glasses to protect their eyes.
Master the Burger Station, play staff for a day and assembled the Yum with TLC.
Rainbow Slide. A multicolored dip into fun land with kids lining up to get their turn.
Foodville, this was the at the center of Jollitown with giant replicas of Jollibee products like the bucket of Chicken Joy, French Fries and Sundae Cones. People loved the french fries so much they brought them home so we were left with the container.
The last area was the Jollitown Stage where the held different shows and performances.
Be sure to check out the Jollibee Facebook Page and join the Jollibee Kids Club to be part of their fun future activities.
