I’m starting a series on my wife’s cooking with this recipe for Beef Tapa.

Beef Tapa

  • 1/2 kilogram Beef Sirloin
  • 3 cloves of garlic, well pounded
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Just add all ingredients and marinade at least overnight, put remaining beef in the freezer in a sealed container to preserve optimum freshness.

A little tip from Irene is to ask the meat shop to make the sirloin slices a little thicker and not just settle for the ordinary tapa cut.

I love these tapa so much I don’t order tapa in restaurants anymore since they can’t compare to my wife’s creations.
