Kitchen Tales: Minced Pork with Pickled Lettuce

August 25, 2011 by Richard

Here’s a simple recipe that we regularly have at home. I consider somewhat of a comfort food.Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kilo of extra lean ground pork
  • 1 can pickled cucumber
  • 1 tbsp. Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup water

Procedure:

  • Heat oil in pan
  • Saute pork until cooked
  • Add dark soy, light soy and sugar
  • Add the water
  • Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes

Spoon over hot white rice and enjoy!
