On a recent trip to Greenhills, Irene spotted something the piqued her fancy at Regine’s in Shoppesville, Vapur: The Anti Bottle. Since it was quite cheap at P49 for this printed one, they also have plain colored ones fro P39, she took a gamble and thought there was nothing to lose if she bought it.

The product is very interesting, we all want to bring water bottles, not only to save money but its more environmentally friendly.

Its got nice and sleek packaging, which had me thinking why it can be so cheap. One big clue is the Made in China printed at the top. Another clue is from the previous picture where it says green in words as well as the picture when in fact the item is printed. This got me on Google researching what Vapur is and how much it really costs, it retails for US$9 each.

Its got instructions at the back as well as some of the Vapur’s features. Its got a pro environment message also but I highly doubt that its BPA free and that they used soy ink to print the packaging. All of those info is most probably copied from the original packaging except for the Chinese barcode.

Despite it being clearly a knockoff, I will run down some of things I noticed. The bottle has a clear cap and the spout is similar to a detergent bottle. The body is like thick plastic sheets that make a crumpling noise when you fold it up. There’s also a carbiner near the top which is double purpose, filled up it can be used to attach the bottle anywhere, when empty it can be use the secure the folded portion of the Vapur.

I’m glad they produced a knockoff or else I would not have known this product existed. I’m now on the hunt to buy the real thing. I’ll keep you guys updated once I buy one.

    Madel,
My guess is that would be a knockoff also. I saw that they have someone selling the real stuff in SG.

    Madel,
I checked the site out. Looks authentic but you never know. It’s also for the smaller size one and with only two left in orange. Not much choice.
