I grew up in the era of giant boom boom boxes as a way of sharing your music. The times sure have changed with smaller and smaller speakers attached to portable devices both capable of fitting into our bags. I got a chance to try out the Nude Audio Move S, a small, hardly flashy wireless Bluetooth speaker.
The packaging of the Nude Audio Move S is small and compact and does not really rely on any gimmicks to catch your eye. The box contains the portable speaker, a short USB charging cable, a quick start guide, and a 2 stickers. Each USB charge packs 8 hours worth of music.
Connection to any Bluetooth capable device is a cinch, push a button on the speaker for 2 sec and just search for the Nude Move S on your device and click to pair it, just be sure it is with 10 meters of each other. Once its paired, you’ll hear an audible sound from the speaker. For non Bluethooth devices, you can connect it thru the AUX in socket to the side of the speaker.
The speaker is covered in a silicone skin to protect the small speaker, you can actually palm it in your hand. It has a nylon cord on one corner to hook it to virtually anywhere like the side of my Crumpler bag.
Don’t be fooled by its small size, it pack a musical wallop. Music is crystal clear even at high volumes with matching deep sounding bass.
The company might have forgone fancy packaging and design as well as celebrity endorsers but it din not scrimp on the product itself. The Nude Audio Move S is a great performing speaker at this price point. Clear sounding audio with a simple and clean design.
