Osaka Ohsho is a franchise from Japan that specializes in gyoza. I’ve been to their Osaka main branch as well as multiple times to their SM Mega Fashion Hall store. There’s a variance between the two, the Japan branch is more Japanese Chinese/chuka cuisine. Stores outside Japan have more leeway to introduce new dishes and variations. They have bacon cheese gyoza here, the only gyoza Lauren eats, as well as Nori, Cheese and Original.
Osaka Ohsho continues the gyoza innovation with their two recently introduced variants, Curry and Kimchi Gyoza (P220/6 pcs, P430/12 pcs.).
If you like kimchi then I guarantee you will enjoy the Kimchi gyoza, minced kimchi is added to the filling. They’ve thoughtfully added extra kimchi on top If you want to add more kimchi flavor. Irene loved this one with its slightly sour and spicy flavor.
I’m predisposed to liking the Curry Gyoza because I love Japanese curry. Gyoza filling is mixed with curry sauce giving it a additional smoky, sweet and spicy flavor. Both new additions hardly need to be dipped in Osaka Ohsho make your own dipping sauces.
Have you tried the two new gyozas at Osaka Ohsho?
