I think virtually all homes and commercial establishments uses LPG (liquid petroleum gas) in tanks. The brand I recognize the most is Shellane, referring to both the brand as well as the lpg tank itself. Shellane is now known as Solane, which is virtually the same brand we love and trust.

A few weeks ago, my wife who was in the middle of preparing lunch found our our lpg tank was empty. We called up their Hatid Bahay hotline at 887-5555 to request for a delivery. For those outside Metro Manila or just prefer (0918) 887-555 but this only accepts text messages. We were told that our order will be sent shortly.

The first thing I noticed when the delivery arrived after a couple of hours was the Solane name emblazoned on the tank together with an adorable new logo.

I was then surprised to see the delivery guy bring out a portable weighing scale, he told us that this will ensure that we are getting the full 11 kg. This was great service, since no other company does this for their customers.

He then proceeded to install the new lpg tank, then went on to perform the Solane 7-point safety check to ensure everything was performing properly.

After payment, the delivery guy handed us a loyalty card, which doubles as a ref magnet complete with their hotline number in the front. The card is called the  Loyalista Plus Cards, which Solane started giving out to their loyal customers. Customers can get a free food item or a Solane collectible for every purchase of an 11 kg. tank thru the Hatid Bahay Hotline.  We got this together with a small pack of Milo.

Not only did we get quality and one of a kind service, we also got some nice freebies. So next time you need a new LPG tank, Solane will be the only number we call.

Solane still contains the same LPG sourced from the Shell depot, the same gas regulators as well as the most important thing, safety inspection procedures. The quality you trust, now in Solane!
