Spectrum at Fairmont Makati is one of the buffets that I really enjoy. They’ve got a nice selection that does not overwhelm your senses yet still over a lot of finds even if you visit for the umpteenth time. This time around they are bringing the farm fun to your Sunday brunch experience.
I always start my meal at Spectrum with a visit to their sushi and sashimi station. I’ve sung it so much praise that it’s getting repetitive, just read it from my other posts about Spectrum or you can just trust me to tell you to make it your first stop.

After the plates of Japanese delights, I follow it up with some charcuterie and cheese.
Spotted these deviled eggs served in egg cartons, genius presentation.
On the way back to the table, I spy this make your own crostini station. There are so many choices, it’s so hard to narrow it down else you’ll be too full even without exploring the other stations.
Feel the ranch experience by visiting the outdoor vegetable bbq station with smoky and sweet corn or some flavored popcorn.
The outdoor meat barbeque has a selection of pork, lamb, chicken, sausages, and beef grilled upon order. There’s also lechon to complete your meat plate.
Seafood is also available for those looking for more balance but you have to live a little on a Sunday.
Meat lovers have even more choices with the indoor carving stating of prime rib, turkey and lamb leg.
If you love pasta, then you must head on over to their make your own pasta stating featuring 5 kinds of home made pasta.
I spotted a new tandoori oven to complement their wood fired oven so if you are looking for some Indian roasted dishes.
TFTT Tip – They have some excellent steamed spareribs, often ignored because they are hidden under steaming baskets.
Spectrum always puts up the nicest dessert display with tons of choices for all every time I visit.
There’s tons of cowboy inspired whimsical creations from cake pops to macarons to match the decor.
Hidden behind some of the cake displays are containers filled with candied bacon strips, that you’d be a fool to miss as well as bacon cinnamon buns.
TFTT Tip – If you see some Portuguese style egg tarts laying about, ask the chefs to heat them up and don’t tell anyone about them.
Great food and fun for adults and children who can play away in the separate kid’s area filled with games, music and activities.
