Feel at Home in Vivere Hotel Alabang

April 29, 2015 by Richard

Vivere Hotel Alabang Lobby

I had no idea what to expect when we checked in at Vivere Hotel Alabang. I’ve passed by one of the first hotels in Alabang many times but had no idea what was inside. This was the 2nd night of Jane’s birthday weekend bonanza, where we stayed in 2 different hotels and ate at 4 different restaurants altogether.

I was in for a little surprise when we arrive at the lobby. We were parked in the basement and once the elevator doors opened on the ground floor, something akin to a winter forest greeted me. Explore the lobby some more and you’ll see a koi pond below their grand staircase.

On our way to the room, we passed thru hallways reminiscent of older high rise condos that was wide open in the middle that let in a lot of light. Vivere is set up more like a condotel rather than a straightforward hotel.

Vivere Hotel Alabang Regency Suite Living Room

We were hosted in the Regency Suite, which had 3 bedroom, 2 toilet and bath, a living room, kitchen and even provisions for maid quarters. The suite had really high ceilings that made it feel like a home rather than a hotel. I can imagine many people being long staying guests here.

The master’s bedroom is not super big but the toilet and bath is something else. It’s really big with a bathtub and shower plus 2 washbasins. There’s also a surprise window to the bedroom.

All the rooms were spacious enough with comfortable beds but it was the living room that tied it all together. It’s the perfect area to mingle around with friends or family but you can retreat to your own rooms for privacy.

Vivere Hotel Alabang Power Strip

The most interesting thing I saw was that they had provided a power strip hidden in the office table located outside the master’s bedroom.

Breakfast was served at the Nest, 31 floors up so you get a magnificent view of Alabang and its environs.

The spread was quite extensive with a large section devoted to Korean food and pretty good at that. See my plate that is almost 50% made up of Korean dishes like chap jae and even kimchi rice.

Vivere Hotel Alabang was a wonderful surprise of a homey and relaxing stay filled with bonding moments with some of the KTG crew. The food and the view from the breakfast spread was also great.
