Wingstop is our go to restaurant for wings. The branch we most frequent is in Estancia Mall, parking is fairly easy and it’s located close to the escalators for a quick eat and run. Another plus for us is that Lauren enjoys Wingstop also, so it’s less hassle picking a place to eat with her discerning tastes.
Lauren’s standard order is the Rice Bowl (P185), with Korean Soy. The bowl has chipotle rice, hardly spicy because Lauren eat everything, topped with a breaded chicken fillet.
Our choice of carb partner for our wings is the Texas Style Fries (P95). It’s the usual thick cut fries with an extra sprinkling of sugar, giving it a stronger umami punch.
Our lighter alternative is the Sweet Potato Chips (P75). Rightly seasoned, thin and crispy.
Our staple wings order has always been the 11 piece Lemon Pepper Classic Wings (P235/5 pcs, P325/7 pcs, P495/11 pcs) but we recently stumbled upon the Mild Buffalo. Mild Buffalo has the tang we love in buffalo wings but toned down spiciness so we don’t burn our taste buds off.
Do you miss the root beer float of your youth then this Root Beer Float (P110) should satiate that. Fizzy root beer topped with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. I suggest having this as dessert instead of an accompaniment to your meal.
