Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Going back to Davao since moving to Manila brought out memories of our favorite restaurants. I was thinking of the many places we used to frequent and Q Resto came to mind.

We’ve eaten countless times at Q resto since it’s near the office and of course it’s super yummy. We started eating their endless chicken when it priced at P95. They then added the option of endless porkchop and chicken with an extra charge. I was surprised to see it now at P200(chicken only) and P210(chicken and porkchop), including endless ice tea and rice.

Their chicken is the grease-less fried chicken kind. I actually don’t know how they do it but I think they put it in the turbo broiler. While the porkchop is breaded; it’s good and flavorful but goes up a notch with the gravy. I finished off 2 bowls of the gravy, which tastes like gravy but with added knorr/maggi seasoning.

It still tastes the same as I remember, very crunchy skin with flavorful and tender meat. I never get refills for rice, only the one rice they serve. I finished off 1/3 chicken in addition to 4 pieces of porkchop because of the warning Irene was giving me. The trick to never running out of chicken or porkchop is to order some more once the order arrives. So every time your order arrives, you order some more, whether a piece of porkchop or ¼ chicken. The taste and heat is maintained since they only cook it when you order.
